Cushcraft's SR249120D dual band tri-mode antenna offers the system integrator a perfect solution to indoor and outdoor wide area coverage by easily mounting to a wall or optional articulating wall/mast mount. While Omnidirectional antennas are well suited to installations where the antenna has a 360 degree unobstructed view into the coverage area, wall mounting omnidirectional antennas can create a number of system performance issues. Since an omni antenna radiates equally in all directions, much of the power is being radiated directly into the wall surface behind the antenna. Wall construction components become actual components of the antenna often causing multipath nulls even within the intended coverage areas.

The SR249120D antenna provides a solution for the most common coverage requirements. The antennas integrated backplane shields the radiating element from the wall eliminating any wall construction components from becoing a component of the antenna.
